About Me
I am an analyst with over 25 years of analytical experience gained in the airline industry and in health care. I am also an author, specialising in stories for and about Native Americans.
I am a Chickasaw, American and British citizen. Growing up in Oklahoma, I saw my parents struggle to make ends meet, and I saw my parents sacrifice to give their children a better life. I studied Religion, with a minor in Government, at Dartmouth College and then, after a year at home, I joined a management training scheme at British Airways that took me to London and around the world. I moved to health care eight years later, inspired by volunteer work I was doing with a teaching hospital in Lahore, Pakistan. I also have a Masters degree in Public Policy and Management from Birkbeck College, University of London and a Masters degree in Public Health (Health Services Management) from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
I live in the United Kingdom with my wife and family. When not working, I enjoy travelling and writing children’s books.
The ideas outlined here are based on evidence in the United States and overseas. My hope is that they can at least serve as a starting point for developing market-based approaches to increase affordability for everyday Americans.
